Free Concert!
The Artemis Chamber Ensemble concludes the 2008 presentation of its signature series Music of the Month with "Remembering Terezin," honoring composers who were taken to the Terezin concentration camp and continued to work despite the odds. Though their creators eventually fell victim to the Nazis during the Holocaust, the music lives on, a reminder of our universal humanity. This presentation will include works by Gideon Klein (1919-1945), Erwin Schulhoff (1894-1942), and Hans Krasa (1899-1944).
